Green Beans and Bacon
This recipe has become a holiday favorite in our house. Since the main dishes are time consuming, it’s nice to have an easy and delicious vegetable recipe.
Green Beans and Bacon
Ingredients
- 1 pound green beans
- 4 slices bacon
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 4 cloves garlic sliced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Wash and trim green beans.
- Heat a skillet on medium heat and cook bacon. When cooked, remove bacon and reserve grease, add butter to the pan. Add beans, garlic and salt, cover and occasionally stir until beans are cooked and garlic is golden (about 15 minutes).
- Top with bacon crumbles. Serve warm.
