Chicken Curry Salad With Grapes
This recipe was given to me years ago from a friend’s personal recipe collection. I’ve made slight modifications.
Chicken Curry Salad with Grapes
You can serve this salad over a bed of lettuce or it makes a great chicken salad sandwich. If including slivered almonds, you can mix into mixture with grapes, or sprinkle on top as a garnish.

Ingredients
- 4 cups cooked chicken diced or shredded
- 1 cup celery sliced
- 5 stalks green onion sliced
- 1 1/2 cups mayonnaise Best Foods (adjust amount to preference)
- 1/4 teaspoon curry powder more or less to taste (optional)
- 1 cup seedless green or red grapes halved and chilled
- lettuce (optional)
- slivered almonds (optional)
Instructions
- If you use curry powder, mix with mayonnaise.
- Combine mayonnaise mixture with chicken, onion and celery in a mixing bowl. Cover and refrigerate for 1 to 5 hours (5 hours is best).
- Gently mix in chilled green grapes just before serving. If you prefer the almonds mixed in (instead of sprinkled on top), stir into salad with grapes.
- Place on a bed of lettuce (optional) and sprinkle with slivered almonds (optional).
