Salt, Pepper, Onion & Garlic

Also commonly known as SPOG, this seasoning is a staple in our house, and we always have it on hand. Use as a light rub on beef or chicken. We also like as a light seasoning for veggies. Just toss your veggies in a little olive oil and SPOG before placing on the grill.

A mixture of salt, pepper, onion and garlic creates this classic barbeque rub.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup coarse cracked black pepper
  • 1/2 cup kosher salt
  • 1/4 cup garlic, dired chopped
  • 1/4 cup garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup onion flakes
  • 1/4 cup onion powder

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients into a mixing bowl and stir to fully combined.
  • Store in an air tight container. We usually store in a canning jar.
