Deviled Eggs
We color a large batch of Easter eggs each year. After the festivities, I like to make some into deviled eggs. You can eat only so many plain hard boiled eggs! This is my favorite recipe.
Deviled Eggs
Ingredients
- 6 hard boiled eggs
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
- dash Tabasco sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
- paprika or bacon bits optional toppers
Instructions
- Peel and halve eggs, reserving yolks in a bowl. Mash yolks with a fork.
- Add to the bowl: mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, Tabasco sauce, salt and pepper. Mix until well combined and fill egg halves with the mixture.
- Sprinkle with optional paprika or bacon bits.
