Ingredients

  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 large egg yolks slightly beaten
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/3 cups Angel Flake Coconut
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  • Combine evaporated milk, sugar, egg yolks, butter and vanilla in a sauce pan. Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened (about 15 minutes).
  • Add Angel Flake Coconut and chopped pecans. Cool until thick enough to spread; beat occasionally.
  • Frost top and in-between layers of German chocolate cake.
