This recipe is the perfect amount for the three-layer German chocolate cake recipe.

Ingredients
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 large egg yolks slightly beaten
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/3 cups Angel Flake Coconut
- 1 cup chopped pecans
Instructions
- Combine evaporated milk, sugar, egg yolks, butter and vanilla in a sauce pan. Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened (about 15 minutes).
- Add Angel Flake Coconut and chopped pecans. Cool until thick enough to spread; beat occasionally.
- Frost top and in-between layers of German chocolate cake.
