Habanero Mango Hot Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe mangoes chopped
  • 2 Habanero peppers seeded and roughly chopped
  • 1/2 cup carrots shredded
  • 2 green onions diced (white pieces only)
  • 2 cloves garlic chopped
  • 1/4 cup lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 3 tablespoons rice vinegar (or pineapple vinegar)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a pot, cook until softened (about 30 minutes).
  • Transfer sauce to a blender or use an immersion blender. Blend until smooth.
  • Transfer sauce to a jar and refrigerate for at least a few hours before using.
  • Will last a few weeks in the fridge.
