Russian Dressing

This Russian dressing is a bit spicier than most, since it's intended for a Ruben sandwich. It's worth a little extra effort to make this authentic recipe, it makes a much yummier sandwich than the store bought versions.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup purchased or homemade mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons grated onion
  • 1/4 cup ketchup-style chili sauce or ketchup for a mild version
  • 2 tablespoons prepared horseradish
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce Frank's RedHot Original Cayenne Pepper is my choice
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon sweet paprika

Instructions

  • Whisk all ingredients together in a bowl and refrigerate for at least one hour. Dressing can be prepared ahead of time.
