Alfredo Sauce over Linguini

Alfredo Sauce

Alfredo sauce is really easy to whip up and so much better than store bought. Toss it over linguini with a sprinkle of parsley for a quick elegant meal.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 cups cream
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • In a medium sauce pan, melt butter and saute garlic for 1 minute.
  • Add all ingredients except Parmesan cheese, while whisking well.
  • When all ingredients are combined, stir in Parmesan cheese.
